Book III Scripture
from A TERRACE ON THE
TOWER OF BABEL:
Book III
Mid 1999 - Early 2000
For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will
exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the
mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north: I will ascend
above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the Most High.
Isaiah 14:13-14
the other Scriptures:
Ah, the five "I Wills" of Lucifer as related in
He thought himself more worthy than where God had placed him and vowed to ascend into heaven. He imagined a throne of rulership above those he was jealous of - a place higher than any star of God. He would plant himself upon the highest mount right in the midst of those who already formed a group; take from their achievements, usurp their power if necessary. And from there, reach beyond the heights of anyone's dreams - no one could possibly be superior to him. Even God Himself was too little for the ideas and plans of the fallen one; no one or nothing would stop him. At best, the Most High wasn't anything more than an equal.

Isaiah 14:13-14
